FYI WDM is a writer I've done units on in the past. I'd love to have an introductory video to show. He's a very interesting man and has written some great stuff for adolescents.

I think your video outline is incredibly thorough and insightful. I like that you are discussing your connection to the author and providing information about his early life. Students need to know that writing helped WDM overcome his speech problems and helped him reach out the world. Despite many obstacles, he became a successful and well respected writer. Can't wait to see your video!
